Winners Announced at CPH:DOX 2025
The CPH:DOX documentary film festival, held in Copenhagen, Denmark, has recently disclosed its jury award winners for the 2025 edition. The festival showcased over 90 feature films, with the Audience Award winners set to be revealed in April.

This year’s event featured the European premiere of several prominent works from the Sundance Film Festival, including:
- “The Perfect Neighbor” by Geeta Gandbhir, a bodycam documentary addressing a wrongful killing in Florida, noted as a strong contender for upcoming awards.
- “It’s Never Over, Jeff Buckley” directed by Amy Berg, a music documentary celebrating the iconic artist.
- “Coexistence, My Ass!” from Amber Fares, a portrait of Israeli comedian Noam Shuster-Eliassi.
- “Predators” by David Osit, exploring the controversial NBC series “To Catch a Predator.”

Since its inception in 2008, CPH:DOX has steadily positioned itself as a pivotal venue for the premiere of documentary films, often preceding major festivals such as Hot Docs in Toronto and IDFA in Amsterdam.
