Rachel Zegler Takes on the Disney Lyrics Challenge
In an entertaining segment, Rachel Zegler, the latest Disney princess, participated in a game of “Finish the Lyrics,” showcasing her familiarity with iconic Disney songs alongside host Tetris Kelly.
The Game Begins
The challenge kicked off with a familiar tune where Tetris Kelly prompted Zegler with the lyrics, “And now he’s dear, and so unsure.” Zegler confidently responded, adding a follow-up line: “And now he’s dear, I’m so unsure, and maybe something there that wasn’t there before.”
Kelly acknowledged her performance, noting, “I’m gonna give you the point on that. But the actual following line to that is, I wonder why I didn’t see it there before.” Despite this slight correction, Zegler demonstrated her extensive knowledge of Disney classics.
Personal Connections to Disney
Reflecting on her experience, Zegler remarked, “It’s actually crazy, because I did play that part in my school.” She shared a bit about her history with Disney characters, revealing, “Yeah, I’ve done Belle twice, Ariel, Princess Fiona — which is not Disney. Wow, this is not my first princess rodeo.”
Continuing the Challenge
As the game progressed, Kelly brought up another song, leading with the lines, “OK, I’ve had my adventure. I don’t need something new. I’m afraid …” Zegler quickly completed the lyric, saying, “Of what I’m risking if I follow you into the unknown.”
Throwback Disney
Kelly decided to dig deep into Disney’s vault, presenting lyrics from a cherished classic: “Unbelievable sights, indescribable feelings.” Zegler promptly replied, “Soaring, tumbling, free wheeling,” revealing that this particular song holds a personal significance as it was her parents’ wedding song.
“You’re kidding me. Oh my God, you’ve been a Disney adult all your life,” Kelly exclaimed, astonished by Zegler’s lifelong connection to Disney.
