Coachella 2024 Welcomes Ed Sheeran and Weezer
This year’s Coachella festival is shaping up to be an unforgettable event as Ed Sheeran and Weezer are the latest additions to the lineup. The festival will occur over two weekends, from April 11-13 and April 25-27.

Stage Times Announced
The official stage times have also been released. Notably, Weezer is set to perform on the Mojave Stage on Saturday of Weekend One at 3:10 PM. Ed Sheeran will take the stage on the same platform at 3:00 PM during Weekend Two.
On the same Saturday, the equally billed headliners, Green Day and Travis Scott, will perform sequentially. Green Day will start their set at 9 PM and conclude by 10:45 PM, followed by Travis Scott, who is scheduled to begin his performance at midnight. The festival will also feature Lady Gaga on the two Friday nights at 11:10 PM, while Post Malone’s headlining set will kick off at 10:25 PM on Sunday.
Changes to the Lineup
Since the initial lineup announcement last November, some artists have had to withdraw from the festival. FKA Twigs recently expressed her disappointment at cancelling her appearance due to visa issues, while Anitta stepped back from her slot citing “unexpected personal reasons.” Both artists hope to participate in future editions of the festival.
Ed Sheeran’s Recent Work
In related news, Ed Sheeran has just released a new single titled ‘Azizam,’ which serves as a preview of his upcoming album, ‘Play.’ The term “Azizam” translates to “my dear” or “my beloved” in Persian, hinting at an emotionally resonant project. This year, Weezer commemorates the 30th anniversary of their debut album, ‘The Blue Album,’ with special performances, a new concert film, and an expanded reissue of the iconic record.
