Kylie Minogue and Prince’s long-lost collaboration ‘Baby Doll’ has surfaced online, 32 years after its creation.

The song was created in 1992 after Minogue met Prince backstage after the Diamonds and Pearls show at Earl’s Court in June of that year. She asked Prince what he was working on, and then he invited her to the famous Paisley Park Studios in Minneapolis.
A funk-filled version published online includes the song, which Minogue admitted in 2018, contained “Make me your babydoll, sugar and spice and all that’s nice/Make me your It features the lyrics “Please make it a paradise.”

Earlier, while hanging out in a London hotel room surrounded by studio equipment, Prince reportedly asked, “Where are the lyrics?”
Minogue had not written any lyrics at that point, but Prince put together some lyrics to compose the track. The demo was then posted in cassette form to Minogue’s address, but it has since disappeared.
Minogue has talked about the existence of this song in interviews over the years, and her record label wasn’t interested in the idea of him producing this song all by himself, so she decided to record it. He said he was unable to do so. She also said the Prince Estate may have a copy as well.
The song will also be included as one of the Vault tracks recorded between 1990 and 1992 on The Prince Estate’s Diamonds and Love compilation, scheduled for release in summer 2022. It is also reported that. The scope of the project then focused on the Diamond and Pearls era, so songs recorded after October 1991, including “Baby Doll”, were cut.
The news comes just a month after Prince’s sister Tika Nelson passed away. Her death was confirmed to local news outlet the Minnesota Star Tribune by her son, President Nelson. Her cause of death has not been disclosed.
In June, Nelson shared details of her last conversation with her brother and the similarities between him and his family.
She added that she didn’t know about his illness, but felt like she had lost a little weight when she hugged him. “Several times I said, ‘How are you doing?’ He didn’t want anything to do with me. It bothered me and he knew it, but That’s all I wanted to say,” she said. “I don’t want to get into that. You’re going to ruin the book. Don’t you want me to make money?”
Nelson revealed that Prince and her last interaction was four days before her death. “He kept dodging the questions. I kept getting angry. I was like, ‘Just talk for two seconds.’ He changed the subject and made a joke, and then we both laughed,” she told the magazine.
She continued: “He asked me if I could find more information about our family. Prince asked me to find Sharon’s phone number. I didn’t question it. Something like, “Send this photo to that person.” got it. For what? ”
