Ja Rule Responds to 50 Cent’s Comments on Irv Gotti

In a recent exchange on social media, rapper Ja Rule addressed comments made by his longtime rival, 50 Cent. The back-and-forth escalated following 50 Cent’s disparaging remarks about the late music executive Irv Gotti, who was closely associated with Ja Rule during their time at Murder Inc.

Background of the Feud

The animosity between Ja Rule and 50 Cent traces back over two decades. The latest conflict was ignited after Ja Rule’s appearance on The Breakfast Club, where he discussed advice he received from drug lord Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff, who urged him not to engage in confrontations with 50 Cent. The discussion coincided with 50 Cent posting a provocative image of himself at a faux gravestone of Irv Gotti.

50 Cent’s Comments

Following Ja Rule’s interview, 50 Cent took to Instagram, mockingly labeling Ja as someone who has been overly eager for conflict. He stated, “The Breakfast Club should be ashamed of themselves asking questions that perpetuate violence,” and humorously noted, “This fool has been ready to go what he calls nuclear for 22 years. LOL.”

Ja Rule’s Reaction

In a series of tweets, Ja Rule confronted 50 Cent directly. His messages included strong language, urging 50 to remain silent until he addresses his past. He tweeted, “Until you do something to the n—s that shot you you can’t troll no more… handle your business chump lmao…”

Ja Rule continued his tirade by critiquing 50 Cent’s music and business ventures, calling him a “used car salesman” and labeling his outputs—from music to liquor and television shows—as “trash.”

Ending his sequence of tweets, Ja Rule insinuated that 50 Cent had cooperated with law enforcement, referring to him disrespectfully as “Boo Boo,” a nickname allegedly used against him on the streets.

The Ongoing Rivalry

50 Cent has yet to respond publicly to Ja Rule’s recent accusations. Previously, 50 Cent has denied claims of being a “snitch” regarding his time with Murder Inc., stating in a 2020 podcast, “I ain’t never told on no n—a in my life.”

This confrontation illustrates not only the ongoing rivalry between the two rappers but also highlights the tension surrounding the legacy of Irv Gotti, further complicating their longstanding feud.
