In a recent interview at the Met Gala, internationally acclaimed singer Rosalía opened up about her first acting role in HBO’s popular series, Euphoria, describing the experience as “really inspiring.”

Speaking alongside live-stream hosts Teyana Taylor and Ego Nwodim, Rosalía revealed, “This is my first job, eh? Well, I’m learning, I’m figuring it out.” She mentioned the challenges of memorizing lines but emphasized the joy of collaborating with “amazing actors and actresses.” She aims to embrace the creative process, saying, “I’m trying to have fun with it, play around, improvise.”

Joining the Cast

In February, the show teased Rosalía’s involvement with a promotional image, although specific details about her character remain under wraps. The artist has expressed enthusiasm about joining such a celebrated series, stating during a post-Oscars party that she had long dreamed of this opportunity. “I’ve always been a huge fan, so it (ended) up happening,” she shared, confirming that filming had commenced.

What to Expect in Season Three

Season three of Euphoria, which will comprise eight episodes, is expected to launch in 2026. The new season will see returning cast members, including Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Dominic Fike, Alexa Demi, and Maude Apatow, along with the addition of NFL star Marshawn Lynch and veteran actress Sharon Stone, who expressed her honor in joining the project.
