(G)I-DLE’s member Minnie is set to release her debut mini-album titled “Her,” which will feature collaborations with fellow bandmate Yuqi and WayV’s Ten. The tracklist for the upcoming album was unveiled on January 10th and includes seven tracks. The title track, also named “Her,” will be accompanied by two additional collaborative songs: “Drive U Crazy” with Yuqi and “Obsession” with Ten.
In addition to the collaborations, Minnie has released “Blind Eyes Red” earlier this week and the album will include other songs such as “Cherry Sky,” “Valentine Dream,” and “It’s Okay.” Notably, Minnie previously featured on Yuqi’s track “Everytime” from her solo project last year.
Minnie is heavily involved in the creative process of her album, being credited as the composer and lyricist for several tracks, including “Her,” “Cherry Sky,” “Valentine’s Dream,” “It’s Okay,” and “Obsession.” She also contributed as a lyricist for “Blind Eyes Red” and “Drive U Crazy.”
With this solo debut, Minnie joins her bandmates in pursuing individual careers, following Jeon So-young, Yuqi, and Miyoung, who have all previously released solo music. The group’s latest collective work is their mini-album “I Sway,” which came out in June 2024, featuring the lead single “Klaxon.” Prior to that, (G)I-DLE released their second studio album “(2)” in early 2024, which produced several singles including “Wife” and “Super Lady.”
