Wicked, the highly successful film featuring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, is now available for streaming at home. Since December 31st, viewers can rent or purchase the film through video-on-demand services such as Amazon Prime and Apple TV. The rental price is set at $19.99, while purchasing the movie costs $29.99, allowing unlimited views after the purchase.
In addition to the film, Amazon has released a limited edition LEGO Emerald City set, which includes a 4K UHD Blu-ray of both the theatrical release and a “Sing Along” version, along with exclusive merchandise and gold-tone metal bookends.
The online version of Wicked comes with bonus content, such as deleted and extended scenes, feature commentary, and a special 40-minute journey through Oz. With the film being a Universal Pictures release, it may also become accessible for free on NBCUniversal’s streaming service, Peacock, at a later date.
As audiences anticipate the next installment, titled Wicked: For Good, set to release in November 2025, the first movie continues to break box office records. Viewers are encouraged to watch the original trailer featuring stars like Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Jeff Goldblum, and Michelle Yeoh.
