Blink 182's Tom Delonge Reacts To New Jersey Drone Sighting

Tom DeLonge shares his thoughts on the mysterious drone sightings in New Jersey.

On Saturday (Dec. 14), the Blink-182 guitarist and UFO enthusiast shared a post on social media proposing a theory about the mass number of drone sightings reported across the Garden State in recent weeks. .

“The drone being discussed can hover for 6 hours and disappear once spotted,” DeLong wrote on Instagram. “This is why it’s hard to get the facts from U.S. government agencies. Some can even travel to the ocean and then back to the sky. It’s called ‘transmedia travel.’ That’s very difficult. ”

Drone sightings have also been reported since late November in New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut, and are currently being investigated by local, state and federal authorities, who remain baffled by the flying objects.

According to the New York Post, on Friday (December 13), White House National Security and Public Affairs Advisor John Kirby downplayed the sightings and said people may have mistaken the manned aircraft for a drone. suggested. He also assured the public there was no need to worry. New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy reported nearly 50 sightings in the state alone last week, NPR reported.

DeLong, who has dedicated years to UFO research and awareness, compared the current sightings to the flood of UFO reports from the 1960s.

“It is likely that these drones are ‘imitating’ other aircraft,” the Blink-182 co-founder speculated, adding that “there have been quite a few reports of unidentified flying objects” since 1960 on military bases. Shared documents from the 2000s.

He continued: “This is all something to consider, and (although) we don’t know all the facts yet, we do know that UFOs do ‘mimetics,’ and we’ve known that for quite some time. “I was under a lot of pressure,” he said. why? How to get us to notice them without causing too much confusion? No one knows…but still, we are aware. ”
