A Cowboy Carter Christmas premieres live on Netflix on December 25th
Beyoncé is honing her banjo-playing skills in preparation for her first live performance of Cowboy Carter on Netflix’s first NFL Christmas Game Day Halftime Show. The singer released a teaser on Tuesday, sending fans “much joy and love on this cowboy Christmas Eve.”
The short clip shows Beyoncé sitting on a chair in the middle of a soccer field and playing a white banjo. At one point, the video appears to stop just as it zooms in on Beyoncé’s face, but just before viewers can feel the urge to update the clip, the singer lets out a little laugh and the video resumes, leaving Netflix The history of streaming live events is checkered. A Cowboy Carter Christmas will premiere live on Netflix on December 25th. The set will begin midway through the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens game scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET at NRG Stadium in Houston. This will be the first live performance of her eccentric country album, which includes songs such as “Spaghetti,” “II Most Wanted” and “Levi’s Jeans.”
“The NFL joins Netflix and Beyoncé to kick off what is expected to be a new holiday tradition, as Netflix also announces 2025 and 2026 NFL games,” Netflix shared in November. “This year’s halftime show, produced by Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment and Jesse Collins Entertainment, will feature songs from her genre-bending, record-breaking album ‘Cowboy Carter’ performed live for the first time.”
