Emerging singer-songwriter Benson Boone made a memorable debut on Saturday Night Live, performing two tracks from his forthcoming album, American Heart.

Boone opened his set with the heartfelt song “Sorry I’m Here for Someone Else,” which has already made waves by reaching the Top 40 on the Hot 100 chart.
He continued with “Mystical Magical,” a track he first showcased at Coachella in April. During that festival, he also performed his breakout hit “Beautiful Things” alongside renowned guitarist Brian May of Queen.

Following his initial project, Fireworks & Rollerblades, Boone’s second studio album, American Heart, is set to release on June 20.
Recently, the Washington native performed at the Lovin’ Life Music Fest in North Carolina and has plans to continue touring, including a stop at the Riverbeat Music Festival in Memphis. He is scheduled to feature at various festivals across North America and Europe throughout the summer.
