Joey King and Cooper Koch are set to participate in the 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards by announcing the nominees for the upcoming ceremony. This announcement will take place on January 8th, 2023, via Netflix’s YouTube channel at 10:30 a.m. ET/7:30 a.m. PT. The SAG Awards committee will initiate the process with nominations for Outstanding Action Performance in a Stunt Ensemble, followed by a speech from SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher, who will introduce King and Koch.
Joey King previously received a nomination for Best Female Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries for her role in “The Act,” while Cooper Koch has been nominated for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Limited Series for his work in “Monsters: The Story of Lyle and Erik Menendez.”
Kristen Bell, the star of “Nobody Wants This,” will be hosting the Kudocast segment of the event, and actress Jane Fonda will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing her significant contributions to the industry.
The SAG Awards will be held on February 23rd, 2023, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, taking place at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall. This year’s event will be produced by Silent House Productions in collaboration with SAG-AFTRA and streamed live globally on Netflix. John Brockett returns as the executive producer for the awards show, along with other key contributors from Silent House Productions.
