Gracie Abrams Honors Fan’s Late Friend During Dublin Concert

During a heartfelt performance in Dublin, Ireland, on March 10, Gracie Abrams demonstrated her deep connection with fans as she addressed a poignant tribute. The singer, known for her song “That’s So True,” took a moment to engage with a fan holding a sign that commemorated her late friend, Lolly, who had passed away six months prior.

A Moment of Remembrance

As captured in a TikTok video shared by the fan, she identified the sign as a tribute to Lolly, who had planned to attend the concert. The fan spoke to Abrams, expressing the significance of the moment: “That’s my best friend. She had tickets tonight.”

Gracie’s Response

Gracie Abrams responded with compassion and sensitivity, bending down to the front of the stage to hold the sign. She expressed her admiration for Lolly, stating, “She’s so beautiful. She’s the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen. Thank you so much for bringing her with you tonight. I’m so sorry for your loss. This is so gorgeous.”

Continuing the Tribute

After acknowledging the emotional moment, Abrams placed the sign in front of the stage for the crowd to see. She reassured her fans, saying, “I love you guys so much. Thank you for being here. I just can’t imagine how you must be feeling right now. I’m here for you, and I love you so much.” She beautifully concluded, “She’s gorgeous, and she’s with us. She’s with us.”

The European Tour

Abrams is currently navigating through the European leg of her “The Secret of Us Tour,” which supports her critically acclaimed Billboard 200 No. 2 album of the same name. This tour began in North America before expanding to Europe. Following her European performances, she will be touring in Asia and Australia, before returning to North America, Mexico, and Canada in the summer of 2024.
